EXPEDIUM SFX, the latest enhancement to the EXPEDIUM Spine System, offers a unique "snap-fit" feature that provides surgeons audible and tactile feedback that confirms the connector is securely attached to the rod. Its top-loading design reduces operative time compared with existing cross connectors that require implantation at an angle. "SFX incorporates the latest technologies to enable a fast and secure finish to the most complex cases," said Scott Rushton, MD, orthopedic surgeon from the University of Pennsylvania. EXPEDIUM SFX offers a wide range of implant options and is available in fixed or adjustable length configurations, including a low-profile option.
